On 30th March, 2012, Consul General Shi Weiqiang met in the Consulate-General with Australian friendly civilians Ms June Morrison and her friends.
On behalf of the Consulate-General, Consul-General Shi welcomed Ms Morrison and her friends visiting the Consulate-General, which used to be an Australian navy resort and resided by them when they were serving in the navy. Consul-General Shi made a brief introduction of the Consulate-General, wished Morrison and her friends would make efforts to deepen the mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and Australia.
Ms Morrison and her friends gladly recalled the years when they lived in the property and expressed their sincere appreciation to the Consulate-General for giving them the opportunity to visit their old residence.
Vice Consul General Huang Fengwen and others were present at the meeting.
