In order to reduce cross-border transmission of COVID-19, you are kindly required to read and follow the pre-departure testing requirements which apply to non-Chinese citizens from 17 January 2022. Pre-departure Testing in VIC&TAS for the travel to China (from 17 JAN 2022) Results assessed and Health Code issued by Chinese Consulate-General in Melbourne | Vaccination Status | Test Items | Timeframe | Result Requirement | Fully vaccinated with inactivated vaccines for at least 14 days (SinoPharm, Sinovac; 2 doses) | 2 x PCR ( two different pathology clinics required ) | Within 2 days before departure Tests on the departure day are not accepted. (e.g. For the flight on 19 January, get tested on 17 January and lodge application no later than 10p.m. 18 January) | Apply for the Health Code when both results are negative. CHECKLIST Non-Chinese citizens submit all following documents to and apply for the health code via https://hrhk.cs.mfa.gov.cn/H5/ | 1. Passengers with infection history Infection history are defined as any of the following COVID-19 results ever returned positive l PCR l IgM (Spike) l IgM (Nucleocapsid) l IgG (Nucleocapsid) Passengers with infection history have to go through Step ①②③ ① Initial Review Send following documents by email: hsjcmelbourne@gmail.com Email Subject: "Initial Review: Name + Mobile Phone Number” l CT or X-ray (lung) clearance (the pregnant are exempted with medical certificate) l Two PCR tests (24 hours apart) ② Quarantine l Quarantine for 14 days once initial review approved l Fill in the Personal Health Monitoring Form (Attachment 1) ③ Pre-departure testing as per your vaccination status | Close Contacts or People with Suspected Symptoms l Quarantine for 14 days l Fill in the Personal Health Monitoring Form (Attachment 1) l Additional PCR tests on Day 1, 4, 7 during the quarantine.(negative required) l Pre-departure testing as per your vaccination status | Important Reminders l Chinese Consulate in Melbourne only issues health code for passengers on a direct flight departing Melbourne for China. l Take all protective measures before and during the trip.
