On April 28, Consul General Fang Xinwen accompanied the Anhui Provincial Delegation, led by Governor Wang Qingxian, to visit the Governor of Victoria, H.E.Professor the Honourable Margaret Gardner AC.

The Honourable Professor Gardner extended her welcome to Governor Wang Qingxian and his delegation. She reviewed her visits to China and pointed out that Victoria has always attached great importance to developing friendly relations with China, and the two sides have achieved fruitful results in cooperation in various fields such as economy, trade, education and culture. She hopes that Victoria's relations with China will develop further on the existing basis.
