To support new overseas students in adapting to their academic life and enhancing safety awareness, the Consulate General of China in Melbourne, led by Deputy Consul General Liu Dongyuan, collaborated with the University of Melbourne to organize a "Safety and Care on Campus" event on February 24. Attended by over 300 Chinese students, the activity aimed to promote safe, healthy, and responsible study abroad practices.

Students who participated were informed about preventing telecom fraud, maintaining mental health, and staying connected with family to ensure a safe and successful study abroad experience. They praised the event for its practical advice and expressed their renewed commitment to staying vigilant and prioritizing safety while studying in Australia.
