On 11 December, the 2024 CCCA Annual General Meeting was held in Canberra. Chinese Ambassador to Australia Xiao Qian, Consul General Fang Xinwen, Consuls General and representatives of the Consulates General in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane and Adelaide, representatives from the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) of Australia, the Department of Treasury of Australia, the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) of Australia, and Austrade, as well as the president of CCCA Li Mang and about 180 representatives from Chinese companies, attended the meeting. The participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as China-Australia economic cooperation, bilateral trade, and investment opportunities.
