On May 28, Consul General Fang Xinwen called on Cr Tracey Hargreaves, Mayor of City of Ballarat,Victoria. The two sides  exchanged views on Ballarat's exchanges and cooperation with China, Ballarat's sister city relationship with Yangzhou, and the development of the local Chinese community.
