On June 21, led by Deputy Consul-General Liu Dongyuan, the Consulate-General of the People's Republic of China in Melbourne provided on-site consular services in Ballarat.

Officials accepted applications for Chinese passports, travel documents, and visas to China, and addressed general consular inquiries.

A lecture on key security risks and prevention measures for overseas Chinese was also delivered.

Deputy Consul-General Liu met with Chinese community representatives and local friends to share views on strengthening people-to-people exchanges and cooperation.
